It seemed to get lost in the pandemic's slipstream, but the McDonald brothers have made up for that with a self-titled collection that ranks among their very best. It's a précis of all they do well: power-pop, bratty punk and psych-rock with a weird, cosmic-mystic touch. There's also something curiously snarling about their observations on the pitfalls and pratfalls of fame.
