KONZERT Since 2017, AB Syndrom has been making waves kicking off with their vocal-chop hit "Flaggschiff”, with which the band achieved their first radio airplay and by now more than 2.5 million streams on Spotify. The Berlin-based duo operates completely DIY from the get-go, meaning that everything, from the entire music production to artwork and music videos, is consistently produced independently and released on their self-founded indie label. And this consistency is audible and palpable. Unusual electronic sounds and intricate beats form the basis for Bennet’s extremely personal and autobiographical lyrics. Through striking vocal distortion and lyrical abstraction, the songs allow room for personal interpretation despite their subjectivity. The focus on the personal also characterizes AB Syndrom's live shows. On stage, there's only Anton's drum set equipped with pads, and a keyboard, with which the duo adapts the electronic sound of the album for the stage.
