Heute haben wir eine Doppelshow für euch: zunächst präsentiert Daënk sein Debutalbum und im Anschluss zelebrieren TWIN NOIR ihre ganz eigene Mischung aus Punk und Wave Musik. DAËNK Bereits das Release Konzert des Karlsruher Newcomers DAËNK alias Daniel Klinger Mitte Mai 2025 in der Fleischmarkthalle war ein Erfolg und die Resonanz höchst erfreulich. Nun stellt er sein deutschsprachiges Album "Alles hat einen Sinn" vor. Um den rockigen Charakter der Songs zu unterstreichen, wurde es von den aus der Region stammenden Musikern live eingespielt. Produzent ist Paddy Bohr vom Indicative Studio Bruchsal. Das Album im Genre Pop-Rock / Deutsch-Grunge ist mit seinen zehn tiefgründig bis humorvollen Liedern aus dem Leben gegriffen – aus DAËNKS Leben. In der Stadtmitte wird der Verkauf des nagelneuen Vinylalbums Prämiere haben. Zu hören ist Daënk vorab auf allen Streamingdiensten. Instagram: daenk_official TWIN NOIR - "2 Punks and a Tape Machine" TWIN NOIR is a Post-Punk/Wave/EBM artist duo founded in Berlin in 2021, consisting of Cody Barcelona (voice, electronics, guitar) and Ian Volt (voice, bass). Their music oscillates between electronically monotonic sounds, expansive atmospheres, and melodic moments, combined with minimalist lyrics in German. The sound of TWIN NOIR is shaped by an analog tape machine, a sampler, guitars and a theremin, through which the duo creates their own blend of Punk and Wave music. Technoid beats, driving basslines, and atmospheres played alternately by synthesizers and guitars create moments that invite dancing, floating and drifting. The influences of both artists range from bands like KRAFTWERK and DAF to the EBM and Techno scenes, as well as Punk and Rock from the 70s to 90s. Live, TWIN NOIR impresses with energetic performances and danceable sound. Their show is inspired by Berlin‘s club culture, Punk and Vaudeville, aiming to celebrate and manifest freedom, creativity and art. The duo began performing in Berlin in 2022 and has since played in 17 countries. TWIN NOIR toured across Europe, the United Kingdom, the Balkans and Mexico, where they recorded half of their debut album in Mexico City. Back in Europe, they completed the recordings at the „Portugal Recording Studio“ near Lisbon, where they also recorded their follow-up debut „2 Punks and a Tape Machine - Chapter //“ in summer 2024. TWIN NOIR has achieved significant milestones, including having two of their songs presented by Iggy Pop on his BBC Radio 6 show „Iggy Confidential“. TWIN NOIR were listed by the European music initiative „Europelive“ as one of the „50 most promising European artists“ and have performed live in over 17 countries, including two of Europe‘s largest Wave/Punk festivals: „Wave Gothic Treffen“ in Germany and the „Extramuralhas Festival“ in Portugal.
